More Stuff I Noticed
- Locke is given the alcohol to clean his wound every couple of hours.. and a compass. So is it that the island, when moving the people who are being moved, will also move what is in their possession? I know it moves their clothes, but if Sawyer put on a shirt.. Does it move his new shirt too, now? I forget. [Later on, Juliet is inspecting the inflatable boat and says, “I guess whatever we had with us when we moved is along for the ride.”]
- Juliet keeps referring to the Swan station as the Hatch. Wouldn’t she refer to it as the thing she’s called it all these years?
- That is so crazy.. How the “rules” don’t apply to Desmond. I finally know what Daniel meant by that.. Daniel meant that if he contacted Desmond somehow on the island, that Desmond would instantly know it at his point in time on the different timeline. Crazy stuff. Now it just sucks that Daniel can’t continue talking to him through the different timelines.
- Now to Episode 2. Someone had made a comment that Frank grabbing two beers at the beginning of the episode proved how he actually *is* a drunk, just like Naomi said he was. But he actually hands the 2nd beer to Desmond, so maybe not.
- When Hurley says to Sayid, “Someday you’re going to need my help, and you’re not getting it.” I swear I thought that Hurley was going to put the “I <3 Shih-tzus” shirt on Sayid (!!) to insult him somehow! Hahaha! Oh well :-P
- I was hoping, somehow, the Unknown number calling Kate in her car was Sawyer. But she would have been way more excited and confused than she was.. So I really didn’t know who it would be.
- The first time I saw these episodes, when Ben told Jack to go home, and “You’re never going back,” I thought he meant that Jack was never going back.. to the island. That totally threw me off when Jack’s expression was like, “okay, I see..”. Now it makes more sense.. Ben meant that Jack was never going HOME! Okay.
- Does Jill look like someone who could have been one of the Others? I wonder how she got off the island..
- Maybe the reason the episode is called “The Lie” is becaues Daniel is potentially lying to Charlotte about knowing what is happening to her. I originally thought it was because of Hurley, but Hurley tells the TRUTH in this episode.. to his mom. Right?
- While they’re running from the flaming arrows, I noticed that there were NEVER that many extras on the show.. like, ever!
- I totally call BS on Sun’s conversation with Kate about not blaming her. I totally think Sun blames Kate. I mean, come ON. Kate said she would get Jin on the helicopter. (WHOA, Bon thinks that Sun could have been the one who hired the lawyers. Dude, dude! It makes sense after her asking about the lawyer’s client and all that.. She wanted to know if they told Kate it was her they were representing. Crazy stuff.)
- Ana Lucia told Hurley specifically not to get arrested, but he went and did it anyway just because Sayid told him generically to do the opposite of what Ben told him to do. Totally ridiculous.
